Annual Meeting - 2015

TIMBERLINE VIEW ESTATES

February 12, 2015 (Thursday) -ANNUAL HOMEOWNERS MEETING – 7:00pm

Durango Recreation Center, Windom Room – 2700 Main Avenue, Durango

 

 

1.    Welcome Homeowners and request all homeowners please sign in for the meeting:

2.    Determination of a quorum as of July 11th 2011 revision to the Bylaws:

A quorum is deemed present throughout any meeting of the Association if Members entitled to cast twenty percent of the votes of the total membership are present, in person, or by proxy at the beginning of the meeting – Therefore the required number to be present or represented by proxy is (18)

3.    Do we have any Homeowners that will not have voting rights for this meeting due to not being current with their dues?  Present / By proxy    No.

5.    Report of the Officers:

a.       President Report: Bruce Moss

1.       This past year was much easier than previous years as far as violations with campers, boats & trailers being parked for more than (7) days.  Thank You!  Speed limit is 25MPH in the subdivision.

2.       Chipping service will continue twice a year – Right now we have scheduled the service for May 25th, 2015 and October 19th, 2015.  Homeowners may be asked to pay for the chipping service to come back and remove debris if left curbside after the work has been completed.

3.       Campbell’s lot, 124 Timberline Dr., is not in the subdivision but  is subject to paying dues for road maintenance to Timberline HOA due to an agreement signed in 2006.  They will be building a structure to house their boats & toys in.

4.       Seven homes sold last year in the subdivision ranging from $540,000 to $577,000.

5.       Would like to publically thank a few homeowners:

a.       Hilton Schroder – All the work he has done for the association over the years

b.      Marilyn Brown – ARC Committee Chairperson

b.       Vice Presidents Report: Hal Felty

1.       Road Projects  - Updates- No major projects completed this past year.

2.       Culvert work

3.       Highland Hill road updates – nothing to be done at this time.

c.       Treasures Report:  Mark Stiles (See attached report)

1.       Review the Associations 2014 Financials

2.       Review the 2015 Association Operating Budget. A motion was made, moved and passed to approve the Budget for 2015.  No increase in dues for 2015.

3.       Review the Capital Reserve Account – At the end of the year, excess over $20,000 goes into the Capital Reserve.  Balance in reserve as 12/31/14 is $94,023.

4.       Board implemented the HOA Transfer fee of $50 in 2013 and to date we have collected $350.00 in 2014 in fees

2.       Slate for the ARC for 2015:

A motion was made, moved and passed appointing the slate of members above for the ARC.

6.  Review / Vote on the Slate for the Timberline Estates HOA Board of Directors for 2015:

                      A motion was made, moved and passed electing the slate of individuals above nominated for the Board of Directors.
